The Palm Pilot has become a very popular method of transporting data that would have otherwise been confined to desktop or laptop systems.

Our Palm interface allows you to send all of your inventory and prospects to the Palm Pilot using thier syn manager.

To install this interface, make sure you have alrrady installed and configured your Palm Pilot and have completed a successful sync with it.

The process is complicated at first due to the fact that the data must be converted and placed in a list for the sync manager.

Thew following procedure is a One Time setup process, if you need help please call tech support.

Step 1.
There is a folder in your Sales32 Folder called Mobile, you will find a file called Mobile.zip. This file should be extracted (you will need Winzip) to your hard drive in a folder that you can remember (Many clients install it in their sales32 folder under a sub directory called Palm.

Step 2.
After extraction look for a file called MobileDb206.prc, when you find it double click on it, this will activate the Palm Pilot software to look for a file that is a MobileDB file and associate it to Palm Sync.

Step 3.
You can now click on the Stock Inventory button to generate a MobileDb database of your inventory. The same procedure can be done for Prospects.

Step 4.
Once you have exported your data you will need to look for the files under the Sales32 \ Mobile folder. They are named Stock.pdb and prospect.pdb. These will need to be double clicked so that they will be added to the sync manager list.

You are now ready to sync your Palm to Sales Manager. To update the files, you will need to go to the Palm Data Converter Module, Click the Stock Inventory and Prospect List buttons and then Sync the Palm.
