Using the Financial Snapshot

The Financial Snapshot provides you with a quick glimpse of how you are doing. Many times you may want to see how much money is in inventory or open deals, how you are doing compared to last month or last year, etc. This screen allows you to do just that, no need to pour over complicated profit and loss reports or become an accountant, unless you spot a trend or a problem with these quick numbers.

If you see that you are not selling as many units or your inventory value seems excessive, you can proceed to the cause of the problem by running other reports or looking at the various screens that Sales Manager has, i.e the accounts receivable screen or the inventory screen.

The Calculate button refreshes the fields in this screen with all the current numbers. i.e. sold units, current retail value, etc.

The Graph button allows you to see a graph based upon Amount Financed, Total Sale Price or Net Profit by the month in the second drop down selector.

The Export button calls up the QuickBooks export module.

The Daily Closeout button call up the Daily Closeout or Cash Drawer Closeout system that allows you to balance your cash for the selected date range.

The Build Sales Data button calles the Sales Analysis module.

The Print / Preview button will bring up this data on a report (that you can edit, as in almost everey module in Sales Manager, by Right Clicking on the button).
