Using the Deal Reports Selector

You can customize almost every aspect of Sales Manager to fit your business, including the reports and forms. The Deal Forms Module allows you to pick the reports and forms that will make up your deal packs.

The small drop down selector next to the name of the form type, i.e. Bill of Sale, allows you to pick from a list (that you can add to using the report editor) of forms and reports in your Sales Manager Reports directory. Clicking on the Green Graph button allows you to edit the selected report ( the one that matches the name on the button).

Some of the Dealer Pack forms exceed 17 inches. You will need to configure your printer for a custom paper size of 850 x 1700 (contact your printer manufacturer for exact details on how to setup long paper formats.) Okidata dot matrix printers have proven to be the best at forms printing and can be configured very easily from your printer control panel.

The drop down selectors on the lowert part of the screen operate the same way as the controls on top, except that the name of the forms fills the selector box. This is done because you may have many different forms to pick from and you may need to change them during a deal.

Clicking the Report Editor button calls up the module which you can use to create your own custom forms and reports as well as labels. Once you create a form, if you save it in the Sales32 \ Reports folder, it will be available for you to select from in the Deal Forms screen.
